A Library at the Heart of the Community
The Cagan Crossings Community Library is one of the things that makes this place feel like a real town—not just a set of buildings. It’s a welcoming space where residents and neighbors can slow down, learn, and connect.
Whether you’re picking up a book, helping kids find something new to read, using community resources, or stopping in for local programs, the library is a simple but powerful part of everyday life at Cagan Crossings.
Within walking distance from our resident communities, the Cagan Crossings Community Library is a state-of-the-art, 19000 square foot public library that opened in February 2008, is part of the Lake County Library System, and serves residents from Lake County. In addition to the 30 public access computers and wireless hook-ups throughout the building, the library also offers over 47,000 materials [books, magazines, compact discs, DVDs, video tapes, books on audio and compact disc], reference assistance, children’s and adult programming, and daily courier service from the other Lake County libraries which gives patrons access to over 610,000 items that are currently in the combined collections.
Residents from outside Lake County can purchase a library card to check out material and get on the computer. Computers are $2 for a guest pass. Please call the library for additional questions regarding fees and usage.
